Moses was the first to write himself off and I think we most times count us out first… should I say this comes from a place of identity crisis , or we just have qualities that we think won’t make us fit into purpose? Moses was a stammer and on that ground, he felt he didn’t even have the guts to stand before Pharaoh, mind you, he grew up with that Pharaoh before he fled from Egypt…Now liken this to us thinking we can’t stand before our peers 😒.
Unfortunately, Moses couldn’t even convince God with his reasons, instead of God quitting on sending him, he provided a help mate, Aaron. Aaron was just a mouthpiece , Moses still received the instructions from God, and spoke into Aaron.
Sweetie, I’m just here to inform you that God doesn’t need your eloquence. He doesn’t need you perfect , he just needs you to yield to his will. What has he asked you to do that you’ve written your self off?
Moses, who used to be slow in speech, not eloquent later led the children of Israel to Jordan( very close to the promise land) and was actually the Judge of the Israel. who could have thought a stammerer would lead them? Paul said and i quote, "My grace is sufficient for you, my power is made perfect in weaknesses" God is perfect in every way, give him power to make up for your weaknesses.
Don’t let whatever you think it is ,chicken you out from what you were called to do, if you need a help mate on your assignment, ask of God and just like he provided Aaron at the beginning, he will give you a help mate.
You were born for such a time as this.
